Job Summary:

To carry out the production of packaging material on the Printing Machine according to the production plan and quality control procedures and to lead and control a Printing Shift Team.

What you will do:

Follow production safety rules.
Work according to existing procedures/standards. Continuously improve these procedures/standards as required
Ensure that production is carried out according to the production plan
Ensure that all quality parameters are continuously met and carry out all quality checks as required
Monitor and control print quality and ensure that defect waste is eliminated
Ensure that setups are performed efficiently with mínimal waste
Participate in customer approvals
Classify and/or ensure defects are classified on online defects system (DEMAS)
Communicate any nonconformances to the Process Engineer and/or Team Leader
Lead and control a Printing Shift Team to ensure that outputs are continuously met or exceeded
Identify anomalies and raise tags
Remove tags by correcting anomalies.
Participate in WCM teams.
Create OPLs and SOPs

We believe you have:

Certificate in Packaging Rotary Printing and Rereeling Flexographic Machine Minder
High attention to detail
Understanding of Flexo Printing process
Understanding of plate making and mounting
Understanding of inks
Able to perform tasks autonomously
Understanding of WCM
Understanding of Quality Parameters
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to lead a team.
Ability to be agile and respond rapidly to changes.
