Description
Conduct work studies and line balancing activities.

  • Conduct MNPS trainings with all staff.
  • Design and maintain the plant layout.
  • Give feedback to management on the activities within the MNPS.
  • Map new & update existing processes.
  • Ensure the latest processes are always available for auditing purposes.
  • Improve assembly processes regarding efficiency and quality.
  • Support operations with resource planning for volume changes.
  • Lead the productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Proactively adjust the human resources to support the organization as a whole.
  • Save costs through efficient programs that seek to achieve optimal productivity.
  • Develop strong networks with German colleagues within the MNPS network.
  • Participate in workshops, get improvement ideas & stay up to the latest standards.
  • Actively seek to continuously improve the productivity within the plan to achieve the set targets.
  • Implement new MNPS methods as per agreed rollout plan with all related training material.
  • Perform time studies and make recommendations layout changes or headcount reduction.
  • Coordinate 5S audits and ensure improvements in 5S KPIs.
  • Perform weekly/monthly reporting on 5S standards within the plant.
  • Continuously look for opportunities for reducing waste in the various departments.
  • Engage the relevant stakeholders in the different departments, solicit ideas and execute.
  • Focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:


  • Industrial engineering degree

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Energetic and change / improvement focused
  • Flexible, active and forward thinking A focus on quality and output performance
  • Proactive, reliable, be selfmotivated
  • Work accurately under pressure and be able to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail Work independently though being a team player

Experience:


  • Experience in the motor or vehicle assembly industry 3 years
