Key deliverables and outputs
1. Strategic/Financial
- Process the branch petty cash as per procedure, loading claims weekly, balancing cash on hand and allocating/ monitoring staff and supplier claims
- Ensure that daily receipting is done and handed to the manager for sign off daily
- Submit creditors and GL recons by deadline date
- Ensure that general ledger recons balance before being submitted to Finance by deadline
- Complete and request all requisitions timeously
- Maintain and update the secondhand goods register monthly as per deadline and present to manager for signature monthly
2. Operational
- Ensure that consolidated debtors report is submitted daily
- Process all opened orders and follow up on queries
- Ensure that the full VTC function is uptodate and filed and signed off accordingly
- Ensure all branch transfers are captured on Evolve
- Keep the asset register uptodate and filed
- Answer and redirect all calls to the switchboard
- Greet customers and direct them to the correct people in a helpful and friendly way
- Ensure that copies of all paperwork submitted to HQ is kept and filed at the branch
- Report any branch maintenance requests to the Facilities team for action
- Maintain records of and report on all documentation relating to general building maintenance and office facilities in terms of due items in order to comply with relevant legislative requirements (e.g. OHSA, POPIA, FICA etc.)
- Assist with other related ad hoc administrative/accounting functions/tasks

Academic Qualifications
Essential:
- Matric
- Valid driver's license
Advantageous:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
Note:
Incumbent will be responsible for his / her own transport to and from work.
Work Experience
Essential:
- Previous administrative/financial experience
Advantageous:
- Previous Evolve experience
- Previous Wizard experience
- Previous debtors/creditors experience
