I would like to apply for the position. I trust I will contribute greatly to the company. 

I have a Diploma in Public Relations and currently studying Content Marketing, Digital Copywriting and Brand Management. 

I started my career five years ago as an intern at Tribeca PR. I was involved in the writing, event planning and organizing campaigns for the company with the team. 

After successfully completing my internship, I pursued my passion for writing as a freelance journalist and editor at Spaza Shop Media which had 2 publications Young Nation News and Business Mag. My responsibilities entailed managing the website of the Media House, writing articles for the 2 publications, handling research and interviewing artists and storytellers. With that (WordPress savvy). 

I moved on to being in Client Service department at Ebony and Ivory (Advertising agency). My job entailed me serving as the ‘middleman’ between the agency and clients, maintaining the relationship in what client needs, communicating briefs. I have become proficient in briefing studio, managing both large and small scale campaigns as well as handling all client-service related issues.

With 3 years of experience in Copywriting, I've also done Copywriting work with Ebony and Ivory (freelance work) which has exposed me to work with large brands such as Brand South Africa, Darling Hair and John Craig Clothing. 

In 2021 I was working as a Freelance Writer and Publication Manager at HustlersGlobal. Briefing, facilitating and guiding writers on specific articles to cover, editing the developed articles, then helping writers publish the articles. 

Working with these brands/companies, I’ve developed copy for the communication materials used for in-house work (newsletters, briefs, e-cards, email, advertising copy, advertorials, publications etc.), developed copy for social media drives, handled admin and worked on campaigns from start to finish.
