About Yolanda Malaza:

I hope this letter finds you well and in good health. I am a 26 year old young and ambitious woman who is currently in search of a permanent employment position.

Business Administrator Assistance: Rocla (Pty) Ltd – Kanyamazane, Nelspruit
DUTIES:
- Include, but are not limited to;
 Provide support/assistance to the branch manager, production foreman, plant
supervisors, and organizational staff as a whole.
 Responsible for the control of all documents prior to month end and ensuring
that all information is captured on a daily basis and up to date.
 Preparation and submission of monthly reports, reconciliations and analysis of
variances to management and Head Office monthly.
 Personally check all transactions on JDE to ensure they are correct.
 Identify and find solutions to problems (stock variances, cash sales,
unallocated cash, management reports, incorrect cost allocations, etc.) by
analysing JDE reports.
 Perform full procurement of goods receipting function.
 Ensure that debtors and creditors accounts are checked and correctly
reconciled.
 Ensure month end accounts and allocations are accurate and all relevant
accruals and costs have been processed.

 Controlling the capturing of Works Orders.
 Check and maintain petty cash and ensure that all banking is completed.
 Assist with monthly stock takes.
 Assist with annual budget and assessment process.
 Responsible for wage employee HR Administration, and liaising with
outsourced payroll administrators.
 Ensure correct employee details are captured on the payroll and controlling the
capturing and timing of TDS hourly paid data for the payroll
 Responsible for management and administration of wage employees benefits,
including Rocla Provident Fund administration.
 Handle all wage staff HR related queries

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Sales Administrator: Rocla (Pty) Ltd – Kanyamazane, Nelspruit
DUTIES:
- Include, but are not limited to;
 Assisting the Sales Consultants with their administration duties, e.g. quotations
(generating quotes, updating quotes and sending them to their clients), updating orders,
sending out orders, contacting clients when they’re not able to (when the consultants are
on the road).
 Welcoming customer/clients and offering assistance in terms of recommending by
answering their questions with regards to products and prices that they show interest in
or are excited to purchase as well as addressing their concerns.
 Managing transactions by taking in payments for stock/product purchased,
 Answering customer calls as well as taking in important Client or Company details and
updating it on Rocla’s JDE system.
 Pulling in as well as compiling daily and monthly reports (for example, the production
planning report to the Sales order by Sales executives, and then forwarding them
directly to the Sales Manager
 Assisting the Sales Consultant, Receptionist and Sales Manager on their daily tasks.

 Planning delivery loads for the next day based on the client/company information that is
provided to me by the sales consultants in regards to site locations for offloading.
 Maintaining the companies’ guidelines and procedures and adhering to them honestly.
 Maintaining good work relationships with clients and making sure that they are notified of
any price altercations to products.

Internal Sales Consultant : Woodenways Furniture and Decor - Nelspruit showroom,
(Mbombela)
DUTIES:
- Include, but are not limited to;
 Answering calls, filing paperwork, updating client information and noting down
important client details’ (this includes their banking information and personal contact
details) using pastel accounting software
 Establishing and maintaining healthy, long-term relationships with new clients and
already existing ones in order to generate as well as repeat business and referrals
 Conducting presentations to demonstrate to potential clients the benefits of the products
in-store.
 Assembling product displays in the showroom (basically, making sure that the
showroom is always neat and presentable for customers).
 Discover customers’ needs and offering solutions to them through the company’s
interior services and furniture and décor products.
 Using promotional methods such as phone calls, emails and social media (the
company’s Google business profile) to reach potential clients and build a long-lasting
business relationship with them.

 Greeting and escorting customers to their tables, as well as offering them menu
recommendations upon request.
 Provide guests with daily specials and up-sell additional products that the
restaurant offered.
 Taking accurate food and drinks orders, then communicating the order details
to the kitchen Staff. Serving the correct drink and food orders to customers.
 Maintaining a tidy dining area (this included arranging and cleaning tables,
sweeping as well as mopping the floors). Setting up tables.
 Moving dirty kitchen utensils (silverware, plates and glasses) to the kitchen for
washing, and sometimes I would help the staff in cleaning the kitchen used
appliances e.g. pots, dishes, deep fryer, coffee maker, etc.
