Duties:

Coordinating TB programme for the Hospital: 

• Coordinate TB programme for the hospital

• Conduct TB screening to all patients

• Educate patients on TB prevention, transmission and  treatment

• Conduct staff screening on TB bi-annually

• Report all staff infected with TB to Labour using COIDA forms

• Chairing TB verification meetings

• Facilitate open window policy

• Conduct in-service trainings on TB management

• Managing the implementation of FAST Program in the Hospital

• Compiling stats on weekly and monthly basis

• Conduct risk assessment on TB programme.

• Initiate patients on DS TB treatment

• Trace initial lost to follow

• Review DS and DR TB patients
