I am writing to demonstrate my interest in the position. Based on my many years in Sales, Wholesale trade, retail, management and customer services, I believe I have the necessary expertise and qualifications to fulfill this role.
I am an experienced and self-motivated Lighting Sales Specialist with 20+ years of industry experience overseeing sales figures and new account development. Bringing forth a proven track record of mature selling skills, working collaboratively with sales teams to achieve goals, increase revenue gains, and advance the sales cycle of the company.
I am a strong leader with the ability to increase sales and develop strategies to retain customers. Proficient and holds strong product knowledge of indoor, outdoor, commercial, industrial, streetlight, floodlighting, light management and controls.
I am both proficient and competent in my skills and knowledge for the past 10 years as Sales Manager in the Lighting Industry. I persistently exceeded targets and general sales of at least 3-4 million per month. I am confident in my abilities to do the same and perform well for this company.
In my career path, I have managed a sales team and have trained each of them to be a motivated sales representative for the company I worked for.
As a sales professional, I always focus on developing long-lasting customer relationships while maintaining collaboration efforts with store owners such as ARB, Bidvest Voltex and Independent Electrical Wholesalers. With my ability to determine trade and consumer show presence, I can identify market opportunities effectively which would prove instrumental in exceeding periodical sales forecasts.
