BSc. Agric Viticulture and Oenology graduate. Experience in winemaking, large- and small-scale batch distillation of brandy, gin, rum, and aquavit. Blending, new product development and related operations. Strong sensory ability. Dedicated to quality and innovation, hardworking, team player with good people skills. Capable to operate independently. 

I was part of the team responsible for establishing Poetic License Distillery in South Africa. My initial tasks entailed performing trial blends, sourcing botanicals, assembling the pot (500L), sourcing and assembling equipment, and helping with the design and layout of the distillery etc. Being one of two people working at the distillery, I was an essential part of the distiller. 

I worked at Distell Houdini as Assistant winemaker, I managed a hard-working team responsible for the submerge system (for sherry production), blending, filtration and stabilization of bulk fortified sweet wines.
