A Senior IT Executive, specialising in the design, implementation and facilitation of key IT Programmes relating to a wide spectrum of Functional Area with specific specialisation in Supply Chain and Logistics execution within the South African commercial sphere. Werner Leithgöb leverages over 15 years’ optimised experience; 15 years in SAP Programmes and 13 years at Management Level as a Systems Manager, Commercial and Supply Chain Business Systems Executive, Senior IT Executive, Head of Business Partnering, Head of Strategy and Architecture and currently heading up The Technology and Functional Tower for Programme Horizon which is a multi-year replacement of SAP ECC with Microsoft D 365 across 13 African Countries for the largest Coca Cola Bottler in Africa and most recently IT Director Southern Africa for Lactalis, the largest Dairy Product Manufacturer Globally. 

A highly practiced, respected and educated IT Advisor with a Strategic Level focus on business enhancement, cost reduction and organisational information systems design, Werner leverages in-depth knowledge of drivers relating to business process re-engineering, systems implementation and alignment, and acts as a key point of integration between IT strategies and business systems, applying best practice standards and industry awareness to ensure successful integration across landscapes and platforms.

Having overseen numerous large scale SAP, Integration and Transformation projects on behalf of international grade organisations, Werner has most recently supported the successful application of a Mega IT Initiative on behalf of CCBA, directing the merger of 6 legal entities onto a single ERP platform post carve-out from AB-Inbev, including supporting additional scope relating to the 15% VAT increase and delivery of a Sugar Tax IT solution in time for April 2018. At the same time he executes and manages the organisations’ entire IT infrastructure in the role of Senior IT Executive.

Werner is a resourceful individual that has lead and completed all MEGA Projects for his organisation spanning across full system life cycle and security, understanding the what and how in the wide area of technology and organisational change. He able to leverage off his years of experience to cover all areas of an IT organisation with either his own expertise or those of industry experts as required. 

With a proven track record of success across all assigned areas of control, he is best suited to a Senior Level opportunity wherein he can run his own course with a highly skilled team requiring pragmatic leadership; Werner is a tactical and business minded professional able to strategize at Group Level and lead design / implementation of key Senior, Executive and Board Management initiatives for transformation and attainment of business objectives via optimisation of IT. Werner has extensive Experience across ERP system spanning both SAP and MS D365.
