Job Description:

Afrique Foods Pty is seeking a passionate and experienced Cooking Class Chef to lead engaging and interactive cooking classes. The ideal candidate will have a love for teaching, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to create a fun and educational experience for participants of all skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct cooking classes, demonstrating techniques and recipes.

Create lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and cuisines.

Provide hands-on guidance to participants, ensuring an enjoyable experience.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cooking environment.

Share culinary tips, tricks, and cultural insights about the dishes being prepared.

Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing for classes.

Engage and interact with students, answering questions and offering support.

Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a chef, culinary instructor, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to teach and engage with people of all skill levels.

Passion for food, cooking, and educating others.

Culinary qualification (preferred but not required).

Availability for part-time classes, including evenings and weekends if needed.
