My name is Vuyiswa Maluleke from Johannesburg, South Africa. I am a social studies graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand and possess a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies and Anthropology, with a constant regard for and dedication to quality training. I have a passion for teaching and have been in education since September 2014.
Experience
My roles as a Teacher, Student Representative Council Liaison and Acting Lead Vocational and Operational Support, have equipped me with the knowledge and ability to assess the importance of consistent communication to students about their goals and providing feedback on their progress or the lack thereof, but also the assistance that is readily available for the achievement of their goals.My teaching qualifications, years of experience and prior leadership positions, have afforded me the opportunity to become more knowledgeable about learning theories, but most importantly instructional scaffolding which are critical in supporting students throughout their learning journey and ensuring greater student outcomes.I am highly interested in student retention, knowledge retention as well as the consistent student-teacher mentorship through the maintenance of exceptional student rapport
