Violette Cohen

Hello, my name is Violette, but most people call me Violet. I currently work as a floor manager at a café in Pretoria, South Africa, my hometown. I am fluent in English and Afrikaans, with Afrikaans being my first language but I prefer English.

Since the age of 15, I have been working in the service industry while attending school. Besides service roles, I have experience in document filing, assisting with party planning, and coaching chess to primary children. At my current job, I oversee shop management, customer service, meal preparation, beverage crafting, shop cleanliness, Taking Stock, Pla Events and social media marketing. My favorite task is making coffee, as I find joy in being a barista.

Among all the positions I have held, being an assistant party planner was my favorite. Bringing smiles and joy to clients through dream parties, baby showers, and weddings warms my heart.

While I do not hold a diploma or degree, I am diligent and always eager to learn. My life motto is to not be the best but simply to try doing my best
