I am a seasoned Safety Officer and Maintenance Fitter with over 21 years of experience across South Africa’s mining and industrial sectors, including Highveld Steel and Vanadium, Optimum Colliery, Glencore Mines, Wescoal Mines, and Newclydale Mine. My career spans both technical and leadership roles, combining deep mechanical expertise with a strong command of occupational health and safety.
I’ve led safety initiatives, chaired disciplinary hearings, and developed risk management frameworks that protect lives and improve operational efficiency. My diagnostic skills, ethical leadership, and commitment to procedural fairness have earned respect across diverse teams and high-risk environments.

I hold a BTech in Safety Management, complemented by studies in Engineering Management and N4-level technical courses.
