KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Delivery of Transmission network in IP/MPLS, BGP, IS-IS and DWDM (Huawei P32, OSN9800, OSN1800II, OSN1800V NE8000, ATN910, RTN905, CE-switches) • IP Planning and allocations • Huawei NCE/U2000/U2020 • Nokia NetACT • Update of Database records (SPARC, Transmission sharepoint) • Fibre ATP Certificate acceptance • Quality Assurance • Conduct/ coordinate performance of maintenance activities on periodic basis (monthly, quarterly, half yearly) • Obtain performance dump of the transmission nodes from the NOC team and • monitor utilization, CRCbit error percentage, and other KPIs • Review and resolve errors/issues found the Network • TWAMP Configuration on new sites builds • Transmission service migrations (includes installing and decommissioning of cell site routers) • Provide Support to NOC • Use OcularIP to monitor transmission links (Microwave, fibre) for packet loss, jitter and delay • Keeping link congestion to a minimum, monitor daily reports • Adding new nodes on OcularIP • Network Perfomance and optimization • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new personnel • Transmission equipment maintenance • Software upgrades • Site Visits & Field work
