I have 6 years of Java & Groovy experience, 9 years of FORTRAN experience, 12 years of C experience, 10 years of Cobol experience, 3 years of PL/1 experience and 7 years of Algol experience. This includes over 20 years doing everything on Stratus VOS machines. I have been programming and testing professionally since 1980 and have spent all that time writing software and testing thoroughly. I have more than 40 years of experience in the IT industry and I am exceptionally experienced in writing and testing software. I am currently working as a Senior System Analyst at Net1 Aplitec and write and test Java software in a financial environment. I am currently working in java with Spring using postgresql database and ELK. We are writing an OLTP card acquiring system which handles credit and debit card transactions between front end devices (ATMs, Point of Sale devices, e-commerce sites, etc.) and Issuers (Mastercard International, Visa International, local banks, etc.) using JPos. We also perform the settlement process of the card transactions using Spring Batch and also use the Maven build automation tool and use JUnit and Mokito for testing and Git and GitHub for source control. I have more than 40 years of experience in the IT industry and I am exceptionally experienced in writing and testing software, currently working as a Senior System Analyst at Net1 Aplitec and write back end Java software in a financial environment. I have also worked on a warehouse management system (Matflow) in C on contract for 3 months in 2021.

I was working on a contract writing and testing C programs that controls warehouse equipment for Apex Real Time Solutions for a three month contract.
My previous employment was working full time in Java with Spring using postgresql database. We are writing a card acquiring system which handles credit and debit card transactions between front end devices (ATMs, Point Of Sale devices, e-commerce sites, etc) and Issuers (Mastercard International, Visa International, local banks, etc) using JPos. Before that I worked as a contractor writing and testing code and designing database structures using DataEase.
Before that I was SysAdmin for Stratus VOS computers and also wrote and tested code for Stratus an AIX written in Cobol, PL/1, Fortran and C.
Before that I was Team Manager / Database Administrator / Project Manager / Systems Programmer / Senior Programmer and managed a team of programmers while being Project Manager, DBA and writing system software in DCAlgol and business software in Cobol.
Before that I worked for a Government department as an Algol, Cobol and Fortran and was SysAdmin of a HP1000 computer.
