I am construction site manager with more than 5 years hands on site experience. I work. closely with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and other professionals to complete a range of projects. My responsibilities include planning and executing construction projects from start to finish, I ensure that projects are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the project without delays. I appoint selected and nominated subcontractors in accordance to the JBCC contract, I communicate the scope of work to the site team in accordance to the client brief, Create a work breakdown structure (WBS) to capture all project deliverables and sub-deliverables, I make use of the critical path method to identify the best timeline for the project. Oversee budget, keep track of expenses, I ensure that procurement and reconciliation of materials is carried out in accordance with company procedures. I effectively communicate with the project team and stakeholders throughout the project and keep everyone updated about the progress of the project. , interpret details on building plans , provide technical guidance where necessary, carrying out inspections on site, ensure quality control, I ensure that the construction site compliance with health and safety requirements, as well as chairing site meetings and keeping site records such as, contract instructions, site instructions, drawing registers, weather reports, sdps and approved building plans, form four designs from all consultants, I also draft claims in accordance to JBCC contract and send it out to the client representatives. In my current project I am responsible for managing the day to day construction activities and paperwork on site within a live dealership; where the existing building needs to keep functioning and serving its customers whilst we refurbish the structure. I ensure that all construction works are well planned and carried out in a proper work sequence and carried out in a safe manner while taking into consideration VV employees and customers. This was my first ever dealership project and I was not too sure what to expect however, we managed to complete it on time and under budget. Being able to deliver such an exciting , ground-breaking project to the client was a fantastic achievement for the team and myself. 

I have been involved in other exciting projects in the past years that range from residential properties, shopping centers, office blocks, restaurants and building warehouses. I had the opportunity to serve in different roles, I have been a junior project manager, project coordinator, site engineer, and intern. All these roles have taught me a lot about construction projects, and they have been a good steppingstone towards the direction I would like my career to take. I really enjoy my work, especially when I get to use my talent for planning and improving efficiency and I’m now ready to move up to a more challenging level.

I hold a BSc Honors degree in construction management. The qualification has equipped me with knowledge and skills for planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of large and complex construction projects.
