Tarika Haripersad

I am a dedicated teacher and very passionate about my job. I am also very passionate about spreading positivity in the classroom and genuinely enjoy teaching and engaging with the students. It is my mission to instil a love for learning in my students and I find happiness in watching my students develop a desire to become life-long learners. 

I am seeking an opportunity to work in a school where I can develop myself as teacher by working with different learning personalities and learning to teach a different curriculum. I am looking forward to working with my fellow educators and learning from them.  

Although I graduated recently, I have four years of experience as a full-time teacher as I studied and worked simultaneously. I have worked as a Grade R (kindergarten) teacher for four years. I also have experience in Grades 1-3 during my time as a student teacher. I am currently a Grade 4 homeroom teacher. I am responsible for teaching English, Mathematics and Science.

I have a Bachelors Degree of education in the Foundation Phase.
