Tamarin Powell

A large part of my personality is my curiosity for new things and my persistence in advancing the development of those new things. A strong sense of discipline & the ability to work under pressure is characteristic of my personality, which makes me an effective problem solver. It is easy for me to adapt to new situations and socialize with others and It is not uncommon for me to use a variety of office software programs.

Having completed my undergraduate degree in Zoology and Physiology, thereafter an Honours degree in Life Sciences (majoring in Entomology) I am now twenty-five years of age, single, eager to learn, a hard worker, creatively minded, and highly motivated.

I am currently finishing up my Master's degree at the University of Pretoria. My thesis includes the use of Southern-African medicinal plants being tested against ticks and their associated infections (both bacteria and fungi). While completing my master's I teach maths and science at a high school in Roodepoort.
