Experience

FABRIC INSPECTION       
Roles & Responsibilities       
1. Ensuring fabric inspectors inspect according to the four-point system       
3. Receive Fabric Mill inspection reports(if available) to firstly identify any potential problems and then start the inspection of that particular fabric by verifying what the Mill's inspection report indicated. 
If there are further issues picked up , do a further 10% inspection and escalate if the issues picked up exceeds the four point acceptable level.       
5. 100% width inspection to be done on all fabric received       
6. 100% inspection to be done  on continuous printed fabric        
7. Rolls inspected must be marked with a "Quality Check QC" sticker       
9. Issue a Fabric Inspection sheet for each Inspector and review for the following       
a.     What problems are being identified      
a.     Whether claims need to be raised      
a.     Whether additional inspection is required      
10. Fabric widths are captured in Styleman       
11. Relaxing of fabric if necessary for Cape Town Cutting room, before laying can commence       
12. Manage or participate and contribute to relevant technical projects         
      
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT (LEADERSHIP)       
1. Ensure staff performance and motivation. Ensuring that regular feedback is given/received, coaching  and mentoring on performance is given or received to enable continuous improvement.

HIGHER QUALIFICATION

PATTERN MAKING LEVEL 1 ( Completed 2019)
ADVANCED PATTERN MAKING LEVEL 2 (Completed 2021)
