Stanley Maraba

I am a Full Stack Software Engineer with over five years of experience in building and maintaining scalable web applications. My work covers both frontend and backend development, and I take pride in writing code that is clean, efficient, and easy to maintain.

I have strong experience working with technologies such as Java (Spring Boot and Java EE), React.js, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Over the years, I have designed and built RESTful APIs, implemented secure authentication with OAuth 2, and followed Test-Driven Development practices using tools like JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing Library.

I have had the opportunity to contribute to projects in both corporate and startup environments, working with companies such as Neslo, Discovery Limited, Riverside, and Mnisi Consultants & Projects. I enjoy solving complex problems, improving existing systems, and collaborating within Agile teams to deliver reliable, user-focused software.

I’m passionate about continuous learning and improvement, and I strive to build systems that are simple, purposeful, and built to last. I believe that good software is not just about making things work, but about making them work well and with intention.

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, completed in 2022, and a National Diploma in Computer Science, completed in 2019, both from the Tshwane University of Technology. My studies gave me a solid foundation in software development, algorithms, and system design, which I continue to apply and build on in my professional work.
