Seasoned and conscientious Senior Level Management Professional, Kamaljid Prem Shivanand retains over two decades of experience directing and optimising Safety, Security, and General Operations within the Aviation, Hotel, and Casino industries, as well as the South African Police Services.

Serving the Aviation sector over the last decade, Kamaljid has gained unparalleled expertise in Security and Operations Management. Working his way up the ranks from Aviation Security Operations Manager to Senior Manager, at Airports Company South Africa, Kamaljid recently held the position of Assistant General Operations Manager at O.R. Tambo International Airport - where he was responsible for the administration of business practices, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency across several departments, while meeting international and local standards.

Over the course of his illustrious career, Kamaljid has achieved tremendous success; including establishing and leading an Integrated Multi-Disciplinary Tactical Security Team, that has become world-recognised for its best practice functioning in reducing criminal activity. Kamaljid excels in improving security operations, increasing revenue, decreasing costs, and launching highly competitive revamped facilities

Kamaljid has extensive experience in Safety and Security as well as Operations Management experience in the Gaming and Resort industry.

Kamaljid also have more than 15 years experience in law enforcement having served in various positions in the South African Police Services.

Kamaljid leverages several qualifications to further cement his professional expertise, including an MBA from MANCOSA, a Diploma in Aviation Security from IATA, and a Diploma in Police Management from Technikon SA, Aviation Security Professional Management Certification and an Executive Management Certification from Cornell University.
