Stanley holds a BCom Honours in Business Informatics Degree. He has also completed several certifications such as Data Analysis (MS Power BI), MS Azure Data Fundamentals, TOGAF v9.1, ITIL v3, Prince2: Project Management and Data Modelling using Microsoft Visio. He is currently studying towards becoming CDMP(DAMA) certified. He has a proven track record of providing expert guidance and advice to business on data governance, quality and privacy best practices, regulatory requirements, and standards related to data protection and privacy compliance. He has been instrumental in providing data capabilities for improving the compliance, quality, fitness of data that's used for analysis and decision making. Stanley has also successfully led data management initiatives including Data Governance, Data Privacy, Meta-Data, Data Quality, and Master Data Management to ensure compliance to standard regulations, and best practices. Being a seasoned
professional, he is skilled in collaborating with Data management stakeholders and Systems / Applications teams to ensure that appropriate data controls are built into systems and processes and analytic tools whilst integrating layers to ensure adherence to data standards and regulations. He has also gained experience in conducting data maturity assessment (MA’s), privacy impact assessments (PIA’s), data protection impact assessments (DPIA’s) to identify and mitigate privacy risks associated with data processing activities. During his career Stanley, has worked on several projects which entailed ensuring data governance, quality and compliance to POPIA and GDPR. In addition, he is highly experienced in working with the Microsoft Purview stack. He has excellent communications skills and comes across as a experienced and mature individual.
