Somila Tandani

Briefly I’m a young lady age of 31 years old, vibrant, healthy and energetic. I was born and raised in the Eastern Cape in a village called Tyutyuza location, where I did my primary years then later moved to East London Town which is where I furthered my high school education. I am from a spiritual home, where everything begins and ends with a prayer. Growing up I used to love watching my aunt clean up and cook and I guess that is where my love for hospitality began.

I am  currently unemployed, but I do assist at Xhayimpi Healing Institute where I do administration and training of the students/initiates. Before that, I was busy running my own small catering business where I would cater for about 100 people. And while I really enjoyed the work that I did, I got to learn more about people and how to deal with different kinds of people in terms of what is it that they really want to get from you at the end of the day. Service delivery is very important to me as it can either make you or break you if failed to deliver.

I graduated at the Tshwane University of Technology In 2016, where I obtained a National diploma in Hospitality Management. I have one(1) year experience in the hospitality Industry, where I covered the following positions; Front desk, Waitressing, Housekeeping, Bar service and Banqueting. I believe I can add value in your company with my experience & my attitude.
