Siphesihle Lwazi Bhengu

I'm Siphesihle Bhengu; a 27-year-old African male seeking data related opportunities to make a lucrative career and fulfil my personal wellbeing. I have 2.5 years work experience as a data capture within the health care & education industries. 

I've recently completed my Data Analytics course with the University of Cape Town (June 2023) which helped me gain a more competitive edge within the data analytics industry in various data tools and systems.

My previous Data Entry experience have prepared me to enter and analyse accurate data into more than 5 different databases [WebDHIS, Tier.Net, HPRS, RedCap] with which has equipped me with strong administrative skills , not only on a file based approach, but as well as systematically using  Windows Office program templates, to name a few, while maintaining the complete integrity and confidentiality of the information which I have been entrusted while most of my work was on an independent basis.

 As a fluent English speaker, I'm able to enter, analyse and communicate data at a rapid rate which equipped me with essential skills (qualitative and quantitative analysis) as well as being target and deadline driven to meet organisational goals while exercising accuracy and attention to detail qualities.

I believe that ambition and drive are the most effective motivators. I'm a self-starter who's not satisfied until I've maximized my efficiency and production rate to the greatest extent possible. I've showcased great improvement on several data entry and spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel through my academic journey. When problems arise, I take can adapt to taking a leadership role, analyse the problem and organize the implementation of the relevant solutions. Even so, I remain open to learning new strategies when needed.

My most relevant education was done through the University of Cape Town where I was studying Data Analytics which equipped me with:

 An understanding of how data analysis can be used to address a wide variety of business needs.
•A theoretical grasp of databases, and familiarity with a range of different data analysis techniques.
•The practical skills to sort, manipulate, analyse, visualise, and interpret data using Microsoft Excel.
