Sinenhlanhla Zungu

My name is Sinenhlanhla Zilungile Zungu, a BA in Communications (Media Studies and Journalism) and BA Honors- Leadership Communication graduate currently in the job market.  I have occupied several marketing and communications roles including news reporting, copywriting, marketing and communications internships as well as strategic marketing learning. I believe I have gained solid working knowledge in deadline-orientated tasks, effective communication, digital media, marketing, PR, public speaking, reporting, networking, and working under pressure with people and alone.

I worked as a journalist at the University of the Free State, an Internal Communications and Thought Leadership intern at STANLIB, a Copywriter for Sibizi magazine, a news reporter for Independent Media, a Marketing and Communications intern at Renttech SA as well as a Strategic Marketing Learner at Delta Victor Bravo.

Some of my duties included, but were not limited to, copywriting; project and people management; event co-ordinating; content conceptualising; development; creation and strategising; operational planning, budgeting, community, and social media management; liaising with clients, producing and overseeing parts of the video content production. I am interested in this particular position because the position speaks to my skills and personal ethos. I am a methodical thinker with a strong work ethic, and an orderly mind, both creative and systematic in my approach. I also have excellent oral and written communication skills with instinctive attention to detail; excellent interpersonal and team working skills; networking and negotiation, management, planning, organizing, and execution.
