Simone' Du Toit

I am a 24 year old Jack of all trades, who is on the hunt for a career path that allows more creative expression and innovation. I have always had an aptitude for language and creative arts, and having tried some other avenues, I believe that it's time to hone in on my content writing and marketing skills. 

With most start-up companies, you learn to do a little bit of everything, and my current role is no exception. My role includes Marketing, Business Development, and Copy Writing responsibilities, in which I have gained experience over the past year and a half. 

My experience ranges from business development, to marketing, to content/copy writing and editing. 

In just over a year and a half, I have learned many skills in different departments, including events management and various social media marketing skills, as well as Canva design experience. I am very eager to learn more about marketing and copy writing and further my knowledge and skillset. 

Other professional experience I've gained includes teaching English to students of various ages, from across multiple continents, working with colleagues and clients from different countries, and learning to adapt to different settings, while always practicing exceptional time management and punctuality.

In 2021, I graduated with my Honors degree in General Linguistics, which provides me with in-depth knowledge of languages and its development. 

In 2022, I enrolled for my Masters in General Linguistics, specializing in Deaf Language Acquisition, specifically in young adults living in South Africa. I am currently doing my MA part-time, and I will be graduating in December 2023.
