I am Nkosingimele Hawu Nxumalo from South Africa. I am proficient in English. I have a teacher’s license under South Africa Council of Educators (SACE), I have 120 Hour Advanced Certificate (TEFL/TESOL) accredited by ACCREDITAT. I wish to be considered on Mathematics, Technology and Electrical engineering vocational Subject. In year 2018 I achieved 100% pass rate on Electrical Systems and Construction. Since March 2011 to date I have been teaching Mathematics and electrical engineering subjects theory and practical part at Mnambithi TVET College (kwaZulu Natal in South Africa). The students that I am teaching use English as a second language(L2).  Please allow me to emphasize the fact that in 2021 I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering (heavy current) from University of South Africa(UNISA), modules passed are: Power systems 4, Protection technology 4, Circuit analysis 4, Mathematics 4, Industrial Project 4, Electrical machines 4, Entrepreneurship 4, High voltage engineering 4. After 1 year of correspondence study I obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education PGCE (senior phase and further education and training) from UNISA. Major subjects are Mathematics and Technology.   In 2009 I obtained a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current). Major Subjects passed are: Digital Systems 3, Electronics 2, Control Systems 2, Electrical Machines 3, Mathematics 3, Electrical Protection 3, Electrical Engineering 3 (pass with distinction), Project 3 (pass with distinction), Electrical Distribution 3 (pass with distinction)  In my spare time I help learners in my community to improve their results in mathematics, physical science and English language in order to qualify to study Electrical Engineering.  If I get employed I will be available as soon as possible.

I am a licenced teacher under South African Council of Educators. I am a passionate, dedicated and goal driven Electrical vocational subjects and mathematics educator /teacher/lecturer/tutor with over 11years of teaching experience. I have a potential to positively change and influence every learner far beyond the classroom environment. I easily adapt in to a new environment with good manners.

My duties are:

• Facilitating Electrical Principles and Practice, Electronic Control & Digital Electronics, Electrical Systems & Construction Mathematics to NCV students from level 2 to level 4. Level 2 to 4 is equivalent to grade 10 to 12.
• Planning, co-ordinating, controlling, assessing, administering, evaluating and reporting on students’ academic progress.
• Setting, marking student examinations and any other duties assigned by department authorities
• Creating and managing a training curriculum and allocating resources to meet the training requirements as per industry needs
• Producing training materials, manuals or documentation
• Managing training and coaching activities, instructing theory and practice lessons
• Developing new training programs and upgrading and delivering existing course materials
• Responsible for the work plans, and execution of testing and training activities
• Ensuring that safety and health standards and principles are adhered to at all times and implementing risk control measures for zero incident tolerance among work teams.
• Delivering workshop practice to the students on plant installations and maintenance.
• Classroom management and administration
