Sheriff Mthembi

Sheriff Mthembi is a graduate from the University of Johannesburg where he graduated with a National Diploma in Mine Surveying and a BTech in Mineral Resource Management.

He has worked in various commodities, including platinum, gold, iron ore and coal. Which has offered exposure to various mining methods both underground and opencast mining.

Sheriff is most recently supporting in the role of Senior Mine Surveyor at Exxaro Grootegeluk Coal Mine in Limpopo, South Africa. One of the largest open cast coal mines in the world. He seeks to incorporate digital strategies to improve his ability to execute his role effectively. He holds honesty and accountability as two key characteristics needed for a successful, and professional, career
