Experience
Direct responsibilities:
· My experience through BMW Rosslyn Plant 9, Transnet, Strata Worldwide (Placed in Exxaro and Anglo mine) has taught me to make how to make a risk-based analysis when deciding, how to be reliable and honest in my dealings if something went wrong.
· I was attending production meetings and presenting daily task completed a day before for my department in the boardroom and was responsible to give clarifications on RCA. This act of service taught me good presentation skills and accountability.
· In Tomra Sorting Solutions, contractors or employees working in my field department were reporting to me. My time with them has helped me acquire leadership skills.
· Writing of breakdown technical incident reports and handover reports to SLA customer, Company representative management and shift reliever personnel has taught me how to utilize data to explain our work processes, analyze data and come up with amicable solution to avoid re-occurrence.
· All tasks were assigned to me were successful, and all SLA customers were always happy when I arrived on site for support or for a call-out because of my ability of solving errors occurred or imminent faults. The period I had served in the company has taught me the importance of delivering exceptional customer experience.
· Some of the breakdowns are caused by mechanical faults and without the ability to think outside the box you can end up not being able to identify faults i.e., tracing electrical fault that is not existing.
· I have received Tomra VIP award year 2020 for Innovation, Passion, and accountability. I served in Sierra Leon for six months during covid-19 while borders and flights were shutdown. I committed myself and kept four Xray sorting machines running and handle all instrumentation, electrical, mechanical and PACT software breakdowns without any spares on site due to cross boarder restrictions.
· Workmanship feedback to all SLA customers Local and Abroad is positive and mails were sent to me for appreciation and to my superior. I received no complaints for the task assigned to me.
· I have experience on preventative maintenance of mechanical and electrical, also doing a planned maintenance to prevent breakdowns and execute of Automated system.
· I am a fast leaner and like a new challenge. I have enrolled to do Electrical trade test and Wireman’s license to upskill myself.
· I look forward to working for an esteemed company to enhance my skills and utilize the skills that I have acquired over the years to take the organization to great heights.
