About Sherelle Stols:
My name is Sherelle Stols and I am a South African female, a daughter to two amazing parents and a sister to an occasionally annoying but really great older brother. I am a sport fanatic, a reader, somewhat cook and baker and I am a psychologist student. I mention these because it is who I am and while it might seem of unimportance all these factors have played a big role in my life. It has certainly made me who I am in one way, shape and form. I remember growing up, my parents definitely have been a dominant factor in encouraging all kinds of happiness in my brother and I and it has allowed me the freedom to truly explore who I am, what I like and what I completely suck at. Sport stuck pretty easily and while I wasn’t the best athlete, the joy being on a tennis court and the blissful memories I have gathered with my family over a shared couch often yelling at the tv are what makes my life and a part of my story. I am a hard worker and tackle every task head on that I am present with. I am a good listener and enjoy helping those around me in any way I can. Becoming a TEFL teacher would not only allow me the opportunity to explore my skills but grant me the platform to be a help and assist those trying to better their future. Ultimately, this an opportunity not to be taken for granted rather to be taken by the horns and make the best out of every task that can come my way.
Moreso, while I don’t have experience as an actual teacher, I have spent the past eight years in my local Sunday School as a teacher, so being around children has always been a true passion of mine.
Additionally, I would like to become a TEFL teacher because it will allow me the opportunity to acquire new skills, build relations with new people and experience the culture as well as immersing myself in the culture and lifestyle.
Thank you for the opportunity for apply to for a teaching vacancy in Korea. Given the requirements that are mentioned in the job description I am certain that I have the necessary skills to teach English that will be valued to your given schools.
