Sapphire de Zoete

I'm a MSc Plant Science student, looking for a, preferably part-time, position. As an enthusiastic and spontaneous individual, I am eager to learn and better myself. I am interested in any botanical positions, ranging from floral work to research. Furthermore, I enjoy working with people in retail and consulting settings. In terms of academics, I have studied BSc Plant Sciences specialized in pathology and have recently completed my BScHons Plant Sciences with distinction, specialized in biotechnology. I have strong molecular skills as well as presentation and report writing skills. Throughout my studies I have successfully started a small business where I supplied learning materials to both individuals and tutoring companies. This has helped me in a creative manner and has advanced my people skills as there was a significant marketing aspect. I have completed the SANSOR soft skills workshop to gain valuable skills both in and outside of the workplace.

I have vast experience in research and report writing. My supervisor and I are currently preparing my paper for publication.

I have completed my BSc Plant Sciences degree as well as my BScHons degree. Additionally, I am a qualified beauty therapist, hairstylist and international makeup artist (general, fashion, airbrush and SFX makeup). In high school I took French, IT, Accounting and Sciences.
