I began my career as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor at Drop Dot Consulting in Sandton (Dec 2020 – Dec 2021), where I assisted in preparing cost estimates and bills of quantities for both residential and commercial projects, supported tender preparation and procurement processes, and conducted site measurements and valuations to aid in progress claims. I gained valuable exposure to contract administration, managing variations, feasibility studies, and cost planning while developing strong technical skills using industry-standard software. In Jan 2022, I joined Diatho Consulting (PTY) LTD in Centurion as a Junior Quantity Surveyor (Jan 2022 – Dec 2023), where I prepared cost estimates, tender documents, and bills of quantities, conducted on-site measurements, and collaborated with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks. I then worked as a Quantity Surveyor at Khanya Lesedi Trading in Bloemfontein (Jan 2024 – June 2024), where I focused on cost estimation, contract review and management, material take-offs, procurement support, and financial reporting while ensuring accurate progress tracking and proper documentation of project costs. In June 2024, I advanced to a Quantity Surveyor/Project Lead role at MK Management Consulting in Bloemfontein (June 2024 – Dec 2024), leading project teams, preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets, managing project finances, and facilitating stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency. Currently, I am working as a Quantity Surveyor at Hokwani Consulting in Pretoria (Jan 2025 – Present), where I assist in preparing feasibility studies, cost estimates, and tender documentation, support cost management throughout the project lifecycle by valuating variations and preparing interim valuations and final accounts, collaborate with senior consultants and contractors for effective cost control, and conduct site visits to ensure project delivery aligns with both design and cost expectations.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Construction Studies (2021) and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Quantity Surveying (2022), both from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Building on this foundation, I am currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the same institution, further strengthening my expertise in construction, cost management, and sustainable infrastructure development.
