Saar-rah Cassim

I am a 22 year old, studying full time at Varsity College in Newlands Cape Town. I am currently in my 3rd year of my Degree in Foundation Phase Teaching. I am looking for a part time job to help pay my study finances. I work well under pressure, in groups/teams, I am always open to learning from others. 

I worked in retail as a pharmacist assistant for 3 months as a holiday job. I also have experience working along side qualified teachers as part of my teaching practice, in this process over my 4 year degree I shadow teachers from different grades (1st year starts with Grade R and ends with Grade 3 in 4th year) at different schools.

I completed my Matric in 2022 I then went on to study a high certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education in 2023. For this qualification I completed my teaching practice at an ECD centre in Pinelands working with babies all the way to pre-K. I graduated with distinctions in 2024 and am now a qualified ECD practitioner. In 2024 I continued my studies starting with my 4 year degree in Foundation Phase Teaching, I will complete my final year in 2027 and proceed to graduate in 2028.
