My name is Ruth Williams, I have vast experience in Trade Marks as I have worked under the Trade Marks Litigation Department and Trade Marks Prosecution. I have great knowledge and understanding in securing and enforcing IP rights. Not only in South Africa, but in Africa as a whole.

Trade Marks Litigation experience,  enforcing clients statutory and common law rights in IP infringements. Dealt with Oppositions, Comoany name objections, In-store infringement investigations, and a number of work in an attempt to generate more work. 

Trade Marks Prosecution experience,  Condicting searches to determine client's mark registrability, filing of marks, responding to Official actions, corresponding with local agents in different countries and Registrars (including Examiners). 

I hold a bachelors degree in Law. Currently, preparing for board exams in order to be admitted as an attorney.
