 Ensure that driver takes relevant documentation – delivery notes, dangerous goods.
 Complete pre-and de- brief procedures, ensure BVO wears full uniform.
 Ensure meter readings on all meters and kilometer readings are recorded by BVO before
departure.
 Ensure that driver submits all required documentation at the driver debrief – Trip Capture, Signed
Delivery Notes, Bill of Loading, Invoices, Vehicle Checklist, Near Miss Report, TACHO Analysis,
Meter Tickets.
 Ensure all documentation are completed correctly, that LOB is recorded.
 Work through trips and documentation and make sure that all information corresponds.
 See that grains and losses are within acceptable range, investigate possible causes.
 Analyze TACHO – Time, Speed, Stops, Kilometer Travelled etc.
 Capture the information of each driver’s trip on excel reconciliations daily.
 Capture the invoices on SSAM and draw a report daily which also includes tank cars, pipelines,
road bridging, gains and losses.
 Compile all the documentation and file.
 Maintain daily fuel consumption, meter sequence and time control schedules.
 Assist contract manager as and when required.
 Dispatch BVO’s from time to time – loading Instructions.
 Request and capture orders to ensure no problems with upliftment.
 Frequent job observation and vehicle inspections.
 Provide an effective service to our customers as set out in the distribution contract.
