I am a IT support agent with a generic management certificate obtained through my previous employer Herotel. I have a huge list of qualities with an IQ tested at Cerrebrum of 161 GPA. With specific areas of focus problem solving and ability to manage and delegate people, I thrive in both a team environment and have the discipline to work alone. With my previous experiences in Administration, Customer care, Sales and Safety, I should prove to be a valuable asset in any company as I have the ability to meet deadlines and targets, communicate effectively and efficiently, deliver quickly on instructions, Im an effective problem solver and have great mannerism coupled with a mature yet fun personality that has made me work well with peers from different backgrounds in the past.
I am a proud husband to a beautiful wife (13 years married) and father to 3 handsome, naturally talented and well groomed boys aged 13, 9 and 6years old respectively. As I hail from a sporting family and a achieved accolades in sports in my school years, I find time to train and coach my kids during my free time, spend time with my wife and family and majority times enjoy updating myself and learning new technological advances and methods. I also aim to study further within the IT sector with my eye specifically on App development, Network security and Linux programming.
Experience
I've worked at many companies before during my years as an employee which has stretched since 2003 to date. Ive been at 7 companies in total which Includes Anglo American (retrenched), Ford (Resigned), First National bank and Remax (both Fixed term contracts) and most recently Herotel where I worked for the past 5years and have gone from being a Assistant technician, Technician and Master Technician to office based roles such as Safety Officer, Sales executive, Customer Care Agent and Internal Support agent to Internal Technician Support Agent where I had to micro-manage and supervise various installation teams from accross South Africa in both devisions of Herotel North and South, do quality control on their work and assist internally with linking different departments within the business to their respective involvement in the clients journey in the business and making sure their journey from the lead to receipt aswell as installation is handled with accuracy, proffesionally and in a safe and timeous manner before handing over. Running attendance, morning leetings with teams I supervised and handling their leave and overtime requests was also required and during my time I became a keen favourite as well as go-to person through my experience a'dd vast knowledge within IT and telecommunication.
Education
Matriculated with Merit and an A symbol in English and achieved an overall percentage of 78% in my grade. I furthered the studying through obtaining a certificate in Mining Operations and construction at Anglo American which is MQA certified and an Environmantal Practitioners certificate in Safety management through NOSA. At Herotel Ive obtained Generic Management And Leadership which is an NQF level 6 qualification through ExcelGrow as well as a problem solving Certificate of the same nature. Ive also done many short courses in the companies I've been employed at which range from Basic Telephone Etiquette, Sales Accelerator and Administrative procedures to more technical skills certificates like Fibre, Network and Wireless fundamentals.
