• Knowledge of client / user focus orientation in the areas of information services, materials access, collection development, digital services, and research support.
• Knowledge of copyright and intellectual property legislation
• Understanding of research impact metrics documentation and analysis methods
•  Effective communication, with writing, reporting and excellent planning, monitoring, and evaluating of performance.

• Digital image conversion and knowledge of the adobe suite applications.
• Ability to lead, reach consensus, establish goals, and attain results.
• Administration of the content management platform and uploading of the content.

• Sound knowledge of human capital, staff development and performance management systems
• Sound knowledge of financial planning, systems, budgeting, projections, and reporting; control and reconciliation of cost centres (PFMA act).
• Advanced expertise in Digitization or digital transformation processes and content management.
• Assist with compilation of guidelines/best practices to ensure high quality information resource management.
• Ability to drive projects and deliver within scheduled timelines
