Petros Chikava

Petros is a  self-starter, self-motivated, sociable, dedicated, trained and experienced School Principal and Business Studies teacher with a keen interest in working with students.  A mature and responsible School leader and classroom practitioner with 14 solid years in school leadership and 24 years of progressive teaching experience in Business Studies. 

Mr Chikava is knowledgeable, skilled and understands a range of teaching, learning, assessment, administrative and behavioral  management strategies needed to a make a positive impact on students. He wants to make a mark on a school’s ethos, progress and development by using his experience to help students fulfill their potential. 

A versatile education practitioner, a good team leader, a motivator, a goal getter with exceptional ability to work under pressure without supervision.  Very active in co-curricular activities, a netball coach and umpire.

Achieved 100% pass rates in Business Studies Matric results.

Transformed a dysfunctional school (school with Matric results below the national, provincial and district, circuit pass rates) to become one of the best performing schools in the Circuit.
