PAUL CHIFURUSE

Throughout my career, I have contributed to impacting educational outcomes through effective organization, prioritization, and execution of key projects. My skills and qualifications are an ideal match to the Science and Biology Teacher requirements and will bring immediate value to institutional goals.

Previously, in my Biology and Science Teacher role, I exercised a calculated and methodical approach to problem solving. I am independently motivated, yet I appreciate team efforts and collaborate productively within groups. Additionally, I am knowledgeable in differentiated learning and assessing students’ needs with proficiency in process improvement. My professional goals align with institution's mission and values, this opportunity is especially exciting. I believe my problem-solving, motivation and leadership abilities will support and drive your continued organizational success.

I have taught pupils between the ages of 11 and 19 for more than 12 years. Though my specialism is in Science, from time to time I have been asked to teach Mathematics upto Year 12 or Advanced Level students. In 2010 when I was studying for my MSc, I had the opportunity to teach undergraduate courses at the University of Zimbabwe in invertebrate biology, ecology, biomathematics and genetics for 2 years

I am currently studying for a PhD in Life Sciences (2021-2024) UNISA
