Olivia Snyders

I am passionate about Patient safety, maintenance of nursing standards and Nursing Education. I strive to be a continuous learner and work well within a team. I am a capable leader but not resistant to being led by my superiors and can be rather rigid with regard to rules. 

 I plan to complete my nursing education studies at Stellenbosch University next year,  and also have a special interest in IPC.  

Currently I work at BD as a Clinical Resource Consultant (Medication Management Solutions); prior BD I was a Sales representative at Medtronic (Airways and Ventilation); RN at Groote Schuur Hospital ICU since nursing training completion in 1996- left GSH ICU in 1999 as a SPN; worked in England ICU 1999-2002; Saudi Arabia ICU 2003-2011. 

Nursing training(R425) completed 1992-1995; Education: R425 Nursing Diploma from Carinus Nursing College, Diploma Nursing Administration and  Masters degree Nursing Research from University of Stellenbosch
