I hereby wish to apply the relevant position as advertised. I am currently studying a National Diploma in Road Transportation Management at UJ (JHB). I have a National Diploma in Inventory& Stores Management , a National Certificate in Project Management as well as a National Diploma in Logistics Management due for completion , these studied at the Nelson Mandela University (PE). I have a Certificate in Retail Management with UNISA (PTA) , graduated from The Raymond Ackerman Academy in Entrepreneurship completed  at the University of  Johannesburg  (JHB). I also  have a Customer Service Certificate facilitated  through Services Seta ,  have a Risk Management  & Financial Literacy Certificate by the  South African Insurance Association ,  a Certificate in Quality Management  Training ISO 9000 : 2015  done through SEDA as well as a Basic First Aid and Fire Fighting Course done at Jabulani BESAFE Centre. I am well exposed and versed  in  Supply Chain Management  (SCM ) Policies , Procedures & Legislation , PPPFA , PFMA , National Treasury Regulations , BBBEE Amended Codes of  Good Practice and the relevant  Contracts  , Sourcing & Vendor Management  practices. 

I believe I am well suited to provide this service as I have worked as an Inventory and Stores Trainee Manager at the NMMU Stores & Procurement department (Main Store for 7 University Campuses & Main Chemical Store)  where I performed tasks such as sourcing suppliers for goods & services , facilitating the payment of suppliers, GRVs (GRN’s), receipting , placing orders, issuing goods, stocktaking , supplier database  registrations , supplier management ,  following up with suppliers, handling returns, processing purchase orders and requisitions, tendering of written off  university ICT equipment ,  general office management and administration. I am exposed to all the MS Office programs including MS Project as well as the Integrated Tertiary System (ITS), SAP, Outlook (email), Oracle, Citrix Optimiser / Optima and the Internet.

I have also worked as a Logistics Trainee Manager at Distell Limited(Distribution Plant)  where I worked  in the 12 Departments namely: Receiving,Procurement,Warehouse Despatch,Returns Bay, Customer  Calling Bay, Cashiers, Merchandising , Admin,Credit Control , Bottle Sorting , Transport /Customer deliveries , Trade Express, Customer Sales , Distribution Allocation Centre & Load Compiling and Batching Department. Being trained by managers in all these departments and having a hands on approach to the organization’s daily operations  has not only given me broadbased knowledge and exposure but also sharpened my edge on different facets and links of the supply chain. I have also worked as a Procurement Administrator (Buyer) at SAB (South African Breweries), at FedEx as a Freight Processor & Data Capturer .  I also worked at  NHLS (The National Health Laboratory Service) as a Procurement Administrator  for  National Tenders and  Contracts and at Sasol (Gas) as a Procurement & Contracts Administrator.  I worked at UNISA (University of South Africa) as an ICT Asset Stock Controller & Auditor , at Trafigura (Puma Oil) – Impala Logistics as a Logistics Administrator for SADC countries and at Total South Africa (Total Energies) as a Purchasing Contracts Administrator performing  end to end Master Contracts Management for Total  South Africa , Namibia , Botswana , Lesotho & Swaziland.

My exposure to various companies has equipped me with skills to different Supply Chain , Logistics , Inventory  & Warehousing Operations. I am an openminded, ambitious and self motivated person who works well in a team and as an individual. I enjoy interacting with people and am therefore a good communicator. I am organized, work well under pressure and apply enthusiasm in everything I do.
