I am highly motivated, energetic emerging public administrator and a researcher. I have previously proven experience of farming business. I have about four years of experience in sugarcane farming with variety of skills acquired in working and engaging with stakeholders involved in sugarcane farming industry. I possess good track record of providing administrative services, organising, data capturing and engaging with stakeholders. Proactive with focused solutions.

I am currently working for the Department of Cooperative Governance under the Community Workers Programme as uMfolozi CWP Site Manager. It a 12 months contract that started April 2023 and will end on March 2024. My duties and responsibilities are as follows: 

• Capturing monthly progress report.
• Maintaining filing system.
• Process incoming and outgoing mails.
• Prepares and update monthly assets register.
• Type routine correspondence and provide data entry services.
• Schedule and coordinate local reference committee meetings including taking detailed minutes, appointments and travel arrangements for Site Manager/ Admin, Supervisors and Storekeepers.
• Coordinate site visits and supervisor monthly meetings.
• Check and verify participant’s monthly payment attendance registers.
• Liaise with senior administrative (Provincial) to handle MIS and portal issues.
• Prepares site operation plan for a specific budget allocation.
• Oversee CWP working progress of all sub-sites under uMfolozi site.
• Provided monthly report to District Manager and Municipal CWP Champion.
• Organising training for CWP participants approved by DCOG

The uMfolozi Site that I am working at, is located at Kwambonambi under King Cetshwayo District Municipality.

I completed my matric year 2007, and since after matric been trying to figure out my calling. Finally Public Administration was the one. I completed my Bachelor of Public Administration degree year 2020 from University of Zululand located at kwaDlangezwa. I was majoring in Public Administration and Business Management. I did continue with Honours for Public Administration year 2021, where I did my research paper and get exposure of data collection and analysis. My Research Project Topic: Analysing the effectiveness of online learning at rural schools at uMfolozi local municipality. I wanted to unpack the perspective behind online learning and has it have an effect to schools in rural areas and how teachers and learners are coping because covid-19 motivated us to realy engage in such learning method. I completed my honours and I am still looking forwad in applying for Masters.
