About Nomhle Tamara Mashego:
My preferred name is Tamara but if you insist the name is Nomhle Tamara Mashego, born and raised in Sunny South Africa. I completed my Matric in 2012. I completed two degrees at the University of KwaZulu-Natal; an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and an Honors Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management.
My curiosity flew me to the United States of America THREE WEEKS before Covid-19 hit and it was one whirlwind of an experience. I joined a cultural exchange fellowship program that allowed me to live rent-free in a stranger's house with their kids and explore the wonders of the "American Dream".
After living with my newfound family and traveling to more than ten states within America, I was allowed to explore more of my skills and broaden my experience through a successful Visa change. I, therefore, explored other work ventures such as working as a home health aide with an agency called Geriatric Care (if that doesn't give away what kind of aide I was giving and to whom, I do not know what will). I did not settle in my position as a health aide because I wanted more, and I went for the position of health consultant in the same agency. I took on more responsibility, got more involved with company stakeholders and building those relationships, and worked as a middleman for clients/patients and health aides.
I decided to move back to South Africa on the 1st of March 2024 to garner and foster South African work experience and develop my career further through graduate internship programs that will assist me in a more knowledgeable approach to the broad world of Human resources. Although I regret nothing and enjoy the thrills of life I see myself investing my time, skills, and resources in a company that invests in me as much as I do in my work and personal growth. a symbiotic relationship that contributes to organisational growth and development and reflects that in my career and life.
