I am a passionate and experienced Hospitality Supervisor who has specialised in events for the last 9 years. I studied psychology but found myself in this industry and have never looked back. As a hospitality supervisor I am a project manager who manages events. I plan and execute events, leading teams from the initial conception of the event to its successful completion. This role requires excellent event-planning skills along with the ability to define project milestones and deadlines and coordinate both teams and external contractors to ensure a successful and enjoyable event that meets organizational goals and expectations. I often need to balance creativity with logistics, financial planning, and vendor management duties. I excel at multitasking and balancing big-picture concerns like contractor selection with details like décor and meal planning, effectively utilizing resources and personnel to stage large- and small-scale events

Experience

am a passionate and experienced Hospitality Event Supervisor who has specialized in events for the past 9 years, this also includes project management, event management and access control of the stadiums. I have developed a wide range of skills that would meet, and exceed the expectations for the role. As a person who has worked in one of the largest stadiums in Africa, FNB and Orlando stadiums to name a few, I have worked with more than 7000 personnel, just to mention suites/boxes mostly. With this said, I am studying Industrial Psychology in order to understand people's character more and be able to assist with their events.
 


As an event operations supervisor under Stadium Management SA, I needed to ensure that we abide with the health and safety, JOC and event risk management in all our suites and hospitality areas. Invoice relevant entities according to the matrix and budget agreed upon, ensure all service providers are accredited appropriately. The responsibility is not only carried out on event day, but a day to day task as planning of an event takes days for it to be executed and ensuring that everything is  accordingly this includes ticket distribution and communicating with all clients as and when.
