About Nicholas Van Wyk:
I am a seasoned Health and Safety Officer with extensive experience in regulatory compliance, hazard analysis, and emergency management. Since 2016, I’ve specialized in creating safe and secure work environments through employee training, environmental risk monitoring, and contractor supervision.
My greatest passion within occupational health and safety lies in Fire Management Safety—ensuring that workplaces are not only compliant but also fully prepared to prevent, respond to, and recover from fire-related incidents. This focus drives my commitment to proactive risk assessments, emergency planning, and continuous improvement in fire safety protocols.
I hold both the NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) and NEBOSH International Fire Certificate (IFC), along with a Level 3 First Aid certification.
As a Saiosh Technical Registered Member I am dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in workplace safety.
Through the development and implementation of safety policies, regular inspections, and swift resolution of health and safety concerns, I ensure that every team member operates in a compliant and protected environment.
