About Nesasha Norkie:

I am friendly, outgoing and passive by nature. I have been a receptionist for the past 12 years providing prompt customer service and helping management and other staff with administrative duties.  Even though I come from a creative background in Graphic Design, I also have the skills and qualities of a trustworthy receptionist and admin officer.

I have built strong communication skills, customer service, office, computer, and administrative skills. I have assisted in coordinating college events , daily scheduling for multiple teams, mending reception and administration were I have used my natural given bubbly personality and my attention to detail work ethic.

I would be a great candidate for this position because I have the ability to cope under pressure and can manage large workloads. I am keen on learning new procedures which will enhance my skills and experience. I am calm and professional, and great at multitasking. In my 12 years of experience I have become a fast learner and I am able to adapt to new working environments, new filing systems and data capturing programs. I am really enthusiastic about working with new staff members.

Experience

I have worked as a Receptionist and admin assistant for the past 12 years, primarily responsible for coordinating a busy reception and was the first point of contact. This includes telephone reception and front house public relations such as responding to enquiries, providing customer service, making appointments, making special guests feel welcome, providing general administrative support to management and staff. This includes word processing, filling, data entry, mail outs, report generation, etc. My role required daily contact with customers and this included handling difficult situations in the best way possible and assisting with 5 different teams that get sent out to multiple areas to do installations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Basic reception duties: Answering phone calls, handling enquiries, filing, emailing, contact with all service providers
• Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages
• Book accommodation 
• Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence
• Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences 
• Provide word processing and secretarial support
• Monitor the use of supplies and equipment and vehicles 
• Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office equipment
• Greet and assist visitors
• Managed 5 teams of experienced fitters that do installations in multiple areas everyday
