I have a great amount of experience selling and promoting educational toys to schools and creches for Grade R and Foundation phase use. I have also facilitated and provided informal, Play Based Learning training to Educators working with the foundation phase. The training highlights the development of the necessary skills associated with the various Educational toys Procuring LTSM, Grade R, Library and Laboratory resources for Section 21 (government schools) and private schools nationwide. I have travelled to all provinces marketing new educational toys and resources. Cold calling and sourcing new potential business in the corporate sector, as well as maintaining a current client base. Building long and trustworthy relationships with schools and all Educational Districts.
Working closely with publishers and suppliers on order deliveries. Responsible for negotiating, quotations and securing business as well as achieving and exceeding set targets. Helping schools build and maintain libraries. Attending Department of Education displays, marketing and promoting the company. I am a very passionate person, and I care about the service and products that i offer to my clients. It has to be of the highest quality, and value for money. There are always times when personalities clash in a workplace. I would address the situation with my colleagues and find the best resolution so we can work past our differences and be able to complete the task at hand amicably.
