About Ncumisa Mxhalisa:

I am a 31 year old female  graduate with a National Diploma in Human Resource Management 2013-2016 and BTech 2017-2017 ,obtained at Walter Sisulu University . 

I am a dedicated individual with good communication skills and a team player with good time management skills. I am also computer literate and willing to learn new skills. Given the opportunity I will perform my duties with loyalty, perseverance and dedication.

Experience

Recruitment and Selection

  • Prepare Annual Recruitment Plan on yearly basis
  • Prepare Advertisement for the vacant funded posts
  • Request line Managers to submit panel member lists for posts advertised
  • Writing Memo request for the appointment of panel members
  • Printing of master-list from e-recruitment system
  • Logistical arrangements for shortlisting and interviews
  • Taking minutes during short-listing and interview sessions
  • Writing memorandum for short-listing and interview appointment
  • Request creation of posts from Persal Controller at Head Office
  • Ensure appointments are captured on PERSAL on time
  • Approve appointments on Persal and send to Head Office for authorisation
  • Prepare monthly reports on human resource administration issues 
  • File documents in line with National Minimum Information Requirement (NMIR) standards
  • Request Verification of Qualifications from SAQA

Conditions of service

  • Facilitate the processing of Service Terminations i.e. Resignations, Normal Retirement, etc.
  • Facilitation of the payment of S&T and Petrol Claims
  •  Coordinate implementation of government employees housing allowance
  •  Coordinate Implementation of resettlements as per policy
  • Assist in the completion of TIL for short and long periods
  •  Implementation of leave reconciliation and payment of leave gratuities
  •  Capture withdrawal of pension benefits on GEPF Pension Case Management
  • Approve all types of leave applications on PERSAL
  • Conduct Leave Auditing on a yearly basis
  • Conduct Exit Interviews
  • Making requisitioning on SAGE

Human Resource Development 

  • Assisting and ensuring the coordination of Human Resource Development unit in terms of training interventions, Performance Management Development systems(PMDS) and Study Aid
  • Administration of PMDS and talent development
  • Conduct training needs analysis/ Skills Audit for the Entity
  • Conduct a Workplace Skills Plan for implementation
  • Co-ordination of Training programmes
  • Assist in the implementation of training programmes identified, on quarterly basis and update on spreadsheet
  • Prepare spreadsheet of all newly appointed officials to attend induction programme (CIP).
  • Populate report for trainings conducted quarterly for submission to the Head- Corporate Support Services
  • Extensive scrutiny of PMDS contracts and assessments in relation to policy for the Entity in order to ensure compliance
  • Create and update spreadsheet/database on PMDS submission
  • Update and populate spreadsheet for Pay progression purposes
  • Update status report for PMDS 
  • Consolidation of Personal Development Plans in conjunction with the training programmes
  • Preparation of non- compliance letters and sending to intended recipients
  • Capturing of Performance contracts and semester reviews on PERSAL System

Wellness

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of the National Recognised days i.e Youth Day, Women’s Day, World Aids Day, Heritage Day and Wellness days conducted by GEMS
