Nastacia Hendricks

I, Nastacia Hendricks, was employed by the Department of Defense (DOD). In the DOD there are various
Arms of Services everyone belongs to. My Arms of Service was the South African Medical Health Services, 
and my Core were Human Resources. I have been in the South African Medical Health Services for thirteen 
years (13) already, where I have been trained in HR and various strategically developed programmes within 
the DOD. 
For three years I have been the HR and legal liaison Officer for the Area Military Health Unit Western Cape, 
were I holed the rank of Captain. I supported all military units and establishments for the Western Cape 
Region with guidance on legal matters and Human Resource Management and various administrative 
matters. My post deals with Social and Economic development issues where the DOD is involved in 
contribution to our society (South African citizens) at a national level. I ensure that all members within my 
department at my level (middle management) adhere to the vision and mission of the organization, in terms 
of accountability and ethical conduct within their respective post profiles or performance agreements. 
Within the DOD we participate at a strategic level with various stake holders providing leadership and 
direction with regard to the management processes applicable at all levels, however focused at senior 
management level, in terms of co-ordination of programs and projects, human, capital and financial. 
Strategically we also assist when needed at a national level.
I have an extensive knowledge on various practices, HR, administrative and legal, data management and 
capturing, frontline hospital reception and had some exposure in joint planning sessions with our 
environmental department on environmental matters, OHS, patient administration and logistical. I have 
worked for a few NGO companies since 2017, as stated in my CV and have built extensive experience after I 
resigned from the DOD.
I am vibrant and diligent within the work context; I have an amazing work ethic and would like to be a part
