Nasrin Hoosen

I am a hotel hotel professional working in the hotel hotel industry for almost 15 years. 
 

I had the opportunity to work with leading hotel groups both locally and internationally including the Southern Sun hotel Group and the Marriott Hotel Group. 

I started off in my career as an internal sale coordinator and worked my way to an Assistant Sales Director. 

I am very passionate about what we deliver to guests wether it’s a bed to sleep on or an events space to play in. i am a firm believer that customer satisfaction is one of the most important validatoons that confirms you are on the right path to success. 
 

I am a strong advocate for the position who has experience in both Mice and the Corporate space as well as working hand in hand with the operations team at both the Sandton Convention Centre and Marriott which makes me well suited for the Event Sales Manager role. 
 

I worked in sales at the Tsogos Sun Hotels for 8 years from 2010. 

I then moved to a company called the Forum Company as a Cluster Event Sales Manager looking after 3 properties.

Marriott reached out to me to assist in opening the first Marriott hotel and Executive Apartments South Africa. Where I started as a Group Sales Manager.
